SE Ranking vs Mangools (2026): Frozen 25-Keyword Test

Short answer

SE Ranking completed all six fixed SERP deep-dives and returned 24 of 25 rank rows. Mangools Free+ produced one full and two partial SERP exports before the observed allowance was exhausted, and no ranks returned during the verification window. Mangools still completed the full keyword import plus SiteProfiler and LinkMiner checks for every frozen domain.

This is a dated run result, not a universal product ranking. Plan limits, access path, database coverage, and result timing all affected the outcome.

How we tested

We froze 25 keywords, six SERP queries, selectverdict.com as the tracked domain, and semrush.com, ahrefs.com, and moz.com as reference domains. The target was Google, United States, Desktop, with English where the product exposed the setting. We did not replace missing inputs, average disagreements, or convert proprietary metrics.

Keyword volume disagreement

Volume differed on most rows. SE Ranking returned explicit no-data for “systeme io free plan” and “mangools vs se ranking”; Mangools returned 110 and 10. This is data disagreement, not feature absence. KD and paid-competition metrics remain under their original product labels.

SERP coverage

The live runs occurred on the same date but not at the same instant, so order differences can include SERP change.

Rank tracking

Both products configured all 25 keywords. SE Ranking returned 24 rows; one remained unavailable. Mangools returned no positions during the final poll. This is an observed data-availability difference, not evidence that Mangools lacks rank tracking.

Domain and backlink evidence

SE Ranking exposed estimated organic keyword and traffic fields for the reference domains. The captured Mangools overview exposed authority and link-popularity fields instead. Field absence is not zero.

For selectverdict.com, SE Ranking showed zero backlinks and zero referring domains; Mangools showed three active backlinks and three referring domains. We preserve the database disagreement and do not average it. InLink Rank is not equated to DA, PA, CF, TF, or WPR.

Workflow and cost

SE Ranking ran through official APIs after the browser route hit human verification. The successful runtime was 524.734 seconds and the recorded balance delta was 1020 API units. Mangools ran in its authenticated UI, where SERP result expansion consumed the observed allowance and ranks were delayed. Direct monetary cost was $0 for each run; complete human labor was not reliably instrumented.

Verdict

Choose by the module, plan, and timing requirement—not a blended score. In this test, SE Ranking produced more complete immediate SERP and rank evidence. Mangools Free+ delivered the full keyword batch and four-domain research with convenient exports, but its observed limits constrained a one-session benchmark.
