Our purpose
Software buyers face dense feature lists, shifting prices, and advice shaped by commercial incentives. We create structured research that makes the source of a fact, the age of the evidence, and the reasoning behind a recommendation visible.
Our principles
- Accuracy before volume. An empty library is better than an unreliable one.
- Facts and judgment stay distinct. Vendor documentation can establish a feature; it cannot establish whether that feature is right for you.
- Commercial relationships are disclosed. Affiliate revenue may support the publication, but it does not purchase a verdict.
- Corrections are part of the work. Software changes, and our pages should show when information was checked.
What independence means here
SelectVerdict controls its editorial process. We do not publish paid rankings, fake testimonials, or unsupported scores. When hands-on testing has not occurred, we do not imply that it has.
